I'm squinting really hard. I can barely make out the lic plate number on that red Austin Healey Mark III sports car. You also tried to hide the American Flag, but I think the palm trees give it away . . .

A luxurious and entirely human carved resort on the dry side of a large Hawaiian island. Not bad but extremeley expensive to make a raod trip of any decent length.
I recognize the canal....Florida...!

Thanks to all for your responses. Conch got it right - I'm in Honolulu! The hotel where I am staying (the Hawaii Prince)is between Ala Moana Beach (which can be partially viewed in the 2nd picture)and Waikiki. The Marina is called Ala Wai for the canal that it is adjacent to - good call on the canal Baron!
Actually, the first pic shows Ala Moana beach. I didn't actually do any beach activities, but as can be seen on my next post, I was able to have a pretty good time.
