Scooterin' in Real Time

Once I got the Elite back from the mechanic, it was time to venture out in the world. Where I live in North Bend, WA (about 35 miles east of Seattle) we are in the foothills of the Cascades, so while there are some steep hills to get to my place, the Elite handles them (and its rather large rider) with nary a complaint. The town of North Bend provides some nice areas to ride, with traffic speeds anywhere from 25 to 40 mph. There is a very nice espresso stand in town, Huxdotter's Coffee, and my morning rides usually end up there. The baristas are nice, and the coffee is excellent.

Just east of North Bend is the town of Snoqualmie - another pretty, quaint town, that has a pretty active tourist railroad.

I have lived in the area for many years, but the perspective from a scooter is so different it makes these places new again.

You'll discover a difference in perspective from now on from a variety of things when viewing them from Two Wheels. I'm closing in on my 40th trip around the sun while riding bikes and I continue to find new discoveries in familiar settings. Keep on riding, you won't be disappointed with what you discover!

Ride Well

We will celebrate our one year of being scooter owners in another month and we are so happy that we bought them. There is a big difference in what you discover riding a scooter or any two wheeler than what you see from a car. Enjoy and we will follow your blog.
