I'm a firm believer in "Keeping it simple" though I am fairly certain that my next bike will probably end up being fuel injected. That's a little ways down the road though.

E.T.Stephenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07081927514870722367noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1684109533781576722.post-38627134404195850422009-02-04T20:23:00.000-08:002009-02-04T20:23:00.000-08:00Baron - thanks. Bobskoot has the Xciting 500, which is a great scoot!

Conch - You're right about carbs - I just need to ride more (a great presciption for a lot of things!)

Heinz N Frenchie - Yes, window shopping is fun. But you are right, you made the right choice in scooters. Just read your post about sharks, which was very cool!

Irondad - I think you are right on both accounts! Hyosung has potential to be a big player in the market. I think their quality is there, but I have heard issues with distribution (particularly of parts) in the US.Lancehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02458096347718242672noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1684109533781576722.post-81182652974829537232009-02-03T16:50:00.000-08:002009-02-03T16:50:00.000-08:00If you're going to dream, dream big!I think Hyosun...If you're going to dream, dream big!

I think Hyosung will be the next serious competitor to the established Japanese bikes. They're sort of the Kia of the motorcycle world, me thinks.irondadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17821323482397075170noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1684109533781576722.post-40584505252489522912009-02-03T09:27:00.000-08:002009-02-03T09:27:00.000-08:00Enjoyed window shopping on your blog. If we were in the market for a new one now it would be a hard choice. Luckily we are set for some years, but it is fun to dream. Thanks for the inspiration.Heinz N Frenchiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06073147068648793624noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1684109533781576722.post-79561262310424266182009-02-02T01:27:00.000-08:002009-02-02T01:27:00.000-08:00Carbs don't clog if you ride 'em. As injectors use pumps to get the fuel out of the tank and measure injection rates with a sensor in the exhaust there are more electronic doo hickeys. But they are unavoidable nowadays.Conchscooterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08016331487463993200noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1684109533781576722.post-22485794149776385802009-02-01T02:40:00.000-08:002009-02-01T02:40:00.000-08:00Lance...thanks for an excellent post. The only thing I worry about is quality and long term durabilty...it's manufactured in Taiwan and this leaves me to wonder about quality...I may be wrong on the quality issue, especially since so many people, including bobskoot have recomended Kymco to me.Baron's Lifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05363887015251189502noreply@blogger.com
